The system incorporates an adiabatic spray network, delivering conditioned water under medium pressure directly onto the coil surface.
The resulting performance includes adiabatic cooling of the incoming airstream whilst the cooler adiabatic water temperature provides direct sensible cooling from the coil.
An adiabatic efficiency of 100% can be achieved, whilst an approach temperature between the leaving fluid and entering air wet-bulb temperature of as low as 10C is achievable.
