Whilst Refrion have an extensive range of standard products and model sizes, a large proportion of the projects that Refrion manufacture equipment for require special bespoke designed products.

Nuclear Applications

Refrion are experienced with the design of bespoke dry air coolers to meet the critical demands and certification requirements for nuclear installations.

Such equipment would be designed to meet the high structural integrity required for such applications, undergo seismic and shockwave testing and achieve specific seismic qualification certifications.

Special Fluid Cooling

Refrion’s proprietary selection software, Web Selector, has the ability to perform technical selections when using  special fluids, such as special glycols or oils, as the cooling medium.
